Ingredients for - Chewy Coconut Bars

1. Packed brown sugar - 2 cups
2. Butter or shortening - ⅔ cup
3. Eggs - 3
4. Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
5. All-purpose flour - 2 cups
6. Baking powder - 1 teaspoon
7. Salt - ½ teaspoon
8. Semisweet chocolate chips - 1 ½ cups
9. Chopped walnuts - ¾ cup
10. Shredded coconut - ½ cup

How to cook deliciously - Chewy Coconut Bars

1. Stage

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.

2. Stage

Beat brown sugar, butter, eggs, and vanilla extract together in a large bowl with an electric mixer until smooth. Add flour, baking powder, and salt; mix until well blended. Fold in chocolate chips, walnuts and coconut. Spread mixture evenly in pan.

Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, about 20 to 25 minutes. Let cool before cutting into bars.
