1. 1 package (16 ounces) uncooked spiral pasta -
2. 1-1/2 cups 2% milk -
3. 1/2 cup ranch salad dressing -
4. 1 envelope ranch salad dressing mix -
5. 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, cubed -
6. 2 cups cubed cooked chicken -
7. 8 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled -
8. 2 cups shredded Colby cheese, divided -
9. Sliced green onions, optional -

How to cook deliciously - Chicken Bacon Ranch Casserole

1. Stage

Preheat the oven to 400°F. Cook the spiral pasta according to the package directions. Drain and transfer the pasta to a large bowl. Editor's Tip: Salting pasta water adds extra flavor. Reserve 2 tablespoons pasta water for the sauce to help it adhere to the pasta.

In the same pasta pan, combine the milk, ranch salad dressing and salad dressing mix until smooth. Stir in the cream cheese. Cook and stir over medium heat until the cream cheese melts; pour the sauce over the pasta.

Stir in the cubed chicken, bacon crumbles and 1 cup Colby cheese.

4. Stage

Transfer everything to a greased 13x9-inch baking dish. Top with the remaining 1 cup Colby cheese. Bake, uncovered, until heated through and the cheese melts, 15 to 20 minutes. If desired, sprinkle with green onion before serving.
