Ingredients for - Chiles Rellenos

1. Anaheim chile peppers, charred and peeled 12
2. Cheddar cheese, cut into 12 strips 1 pound
3. Milk 1 cup
4. All-purpose flour 1 1/2 cups
5. Egg, beaten 1
6. Baking powder 1 teaspoon
7. Baking soda 1 teaspoon
8. Salt 1 teaspoon
9. Canola oil 1 teaspoon
10. Oil for frying 1 teaspoon

How to cook deliciously - Chiles Rellenos

1 . Stage

Remove seeds and membranes from chile peppers. Stuff each pepper with a strip of Cheddar.

2 . Stage

Mix milk, 1 cup flour, egg, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and 1 teaspoon canola oil together in a small bowl until well combined. Place remaining 1/2 cup flour on a shallow plate.

3 . Stage

Pour 1 inch oil into a heavy frying pan. Heat over medium-high heat.

4 . Stage

Roll each pepper in flour, then dip in batter. Fry in batches until lightly browned on both sides.
