3. Eggs - 3 large
4. Water - ½ cup
5. Vanilla extract - 1 tablespoon
6. All-purpose flour - 2 ½ cups
7. Unsweetened cocoa powder - 2 tablespoons
8. Baking soda - 1 teaspoon
9. Ground cinnamon - 1 teaspoon
10. Ground nutmeg - 1 teaspoon
11. Apples - peeled, cored and finely diced - 2 cups
12. Semisweet chocolate chips - 1 cup

Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Grease and flour one 9- or 10-inch tube pan.
