1. Butter ¼ cup
2. Fennel bulbs, trimmed and quartered 5 medium
3. Vegetable broth 1 (32 fluid ounce) container
4. Salt and pepper to taste 1 (32 fluid ounce) container

How to cook deliciously - Fennel Soup

1 . Stage

Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add fennel and cook, stirring occasionally, until golden brown, 7 to 10 minutes. Pour in broth, and simmer until fennel is tender, about 15 more minutes.

Ladle into soup bowls and season with salt and pepper.
