Ingredients for - Garlic Cheese Grits with Shrimp

1. Uncooked grits - ¾ cup
2. Garlic flavored processed cheese, cubed - 6 ounces
3. Cayenne pepper - 1 pinch
4. Butter - 2 tablespoons
5. Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
6. Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
7. Tomato, diced - 1
8. Fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined - 2 pounds
9. Lemon, juiced - ½
10. Salt to taste - ½

How to cook deliciously - Garlic Cheese Grits with Shrimp

1. Stage

Cook grits according to package directions. Stir in cubed cheese and cayenne pepper. Keep warm over low heat.

2. Stage

Heat butter and oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Saute garlic and tomato until tomato begins to soften. Stir in shrimp and lemon juice. Saute until shrimp are pink. Season with salt to taste.

3. Stage

Spread warm grits on a serving platter and pour shrimp mixture on top.
