1. 1 pound fresh mushrooms, sliced -
2. 1 medium onion, chopped -
3. 1/4 cup butter, cubed -
4. 1/4 cup all-purpose flour -
5. 1/2 teaspoon salt -
6. 1/8 teaspoon pepper -
7. 1-1/2 cups milk -
8. 1 can (14-1/2 ounces) chicken broth -
9. 1 teaspoon chicken bouillon granules -
10. 1 cup sour cream -
11. Minced fresh parsley, optional -

How to cook deliciously - Golden State Mushroom Soup

1. Stage

In a large saucepan, saute mushrooms and onion in butter until tender. Stir in the flour, salt and pepper. Gradually stir in the milk, broth and bouillon; bring to a boil. Cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Reduce heat. Stir in sour cream; heat through (do not boil). Sprinkle with parsley if desired.
