2. Onion, diced - 1 medium
3. Creamed corn - 1 (15 ounce) can
4. Diced tomatoes with juice - 1 (14.5 ounce) can
5. Chili powder - 1 teaspoon
6. Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
7. Salt - 1 teaspoon
8. Cornmeal - 1 cup
9. Milk - 1 cup
10. Eggs, beaten - 2 large
11. Corned beef - 1 (12 ounce) can
12. Whole black olives, drained - 1 (6 ounce) can
13. Shredded Monterey Jack cheese - ½ cup

How to cook deliciously - Grandma's Tamale Pie

1. Stage

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

2. Stage

Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion and sauce until soft, about 5 minutes. Add creamed corn, tomatoes with juice, chili powder, garlic powder, and salt; bring to a boil.

3. Stage

Stir in cornmeal, milk, and eggs; return to a boil. Cook until it thickens, 2 to 3 minutes. Remove from the heat.

Stir in corned beef, olives, and Monterey Jack cheese. Transfer to a 2-quart casserole dish.
