1. Ground paprika 2 teaspoons
2. Fresh minced garlic 2 tablespoons
3. Italian seasoning, or to taste 2 teaspoons
4. Fresh lemon juice 2 tablespoons
5. Olive oil ¼ cup
6. Ground black pepper ½ teaspoon
7. Dried basil leaves 2 teaspoons
8. Brown sugar, packed 2 tablespoons
9. Large shrimp (21-25 per pound), peeled and deveined 2 pounds

1 . Stage

Whisk the paprika, garlic, Italian seasoning, lemon juice, olive oil, pepper, basil, and brown sugar together in a bowl until thoroughly blended.

Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat. Lightly oil grill grate, and place about 4 inches from heat source.

Remove shrimp from marinade, drain excess, and discard marinade.
