Ingredients for - Hamusta Soup

1. Swiss chard, stalks discarded and leaves cut into wide ribbons - 4 leaves
2. Celery, leaves removed and chopped and stalks cut into 1/4-inch slices - 2 stalks
3. Zucchini, quartered lengthwise and thickly sliced - 2 small
4. Carrots, peeled and sliced into rounds - 2 small
5. Potato, peeled and cut into cubes - 1 large
6. Garlic, cloves peeled and lightly smashed - 1 head
7. Lemon juice - 9 tablespoons
8. White sugar (Optional) - 1 tablespoon
9. Salt - 1 tablespoon
10. Water - 6.3 cups

1. Stage

Stir chard, celery, zucchini, carrots, potato, garlic, lemon juice, sugar, and salt together in a large pot; add water. Bring the mixture to a boil, reduce heat to medium-low, and cook at a simmer until the vegetables are fork-tender, about 15 minutes.
