1 . Stage
The turban will be made out of herring. Many people think that herring can only be salted. But both baked and fried herring are very tasty!

Cut off the head, gut and carefully cut out the backbone, leaving both fillets on the tail. Salt and pepper the fish a little.

Chop the onion and garlic, grate the carrot. Roast the vegetables until soft.

Grate the cheese on a grater and mix it with the cooled roasted vegetables. I did not salt the vegetables, since there is cheese in the filling.

Place the stuffing on the herring fillets, pressing lightly on the meat.

Twist a turban of herring and fasten the edge with a toothpick. Pour vegetable oil on it. Twist from one fillet, through the tail and finish with the second one.

Bake in the oven at 180 degrees for about 25-30 minutes. When serving pour the balsamic sauce. Decorate with greens. You can serve mashed potatoes as a side dish. Bon appetit!
