1. Boneless chicken breast halves, cooked and diced 4
2. Chopped celery 1 cup
3. Sliced water chestnuts 1 (8 ounce) can
4. Sliced mushrooms 1 (4.5 ounce) can
5. Mayonnaise ¾ cup
6. Lemon juice 1 teaspoon
7. Salt ½ teaspoon
8. Grated onion 3 teaspoons
9. Sliced almonds ½ cup
10. Shredded Cheddar cheese ½ cup
11. Crushed potato chips 1 ½ cups

How to cook deliciously - Hot Chicken Salad Casserole

1 . Stage

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.

2 . Stage

In a large bowl mix the chicken, celery, water chestnuts, mushrooms, mayonnaise, lemon juice, salt, onion, and almonds. Transfer to the baking dish, and top with Cheddar cheese and crushed potato chips.

Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, until lightly browned
