1. Boneless chicken breast halves, cooked and diced - 4
2. Chopped celery - 1 cup
3. Sliced water chestnuts - 1 (8 ounce) can
4. Sliced mushrooms - 1 (4.5 ounce) can
5. Mayonnaise - ¾ cup
6. Lemon juice - 1 teaspoon
7. Salt - ½ teaspoon
8. Grated onion - 3 teaspoons
9. Sliced almonds - ½ cup
10. Shredded Cheddar cheese - ½ cup
11. Crushed potato chips - 1 ½ cups

How to cook deliciously - Hot Chicken Salad Casserole

1. Stage

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.

2. Stage

In a large bowl mix the chicken, celery, water chestnuts, mushrooms, mayonnaise, lemon juice, salt, onion, and almonds. Transfer to the baking dish, and top with Cheddar cheese and crushed potato chips.
