Ingredients for - Kohlrabi in Lemon-Cream Sauce

1. Heavy whipping cream, or as needed - 1 ½ cups
2. Kohlrabi, peeled and sliced, kohlrabi leaves reserved - 3
3. Grated lemon zest, or to taste - 2 teaspoons
4. Lemon juice, or to taste - 1 tablespoon
5. Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste - 1 tablespoon
6. White sugar - 1 pinch
7. Chopped fresh parsley - 1 bunch

How to cook deliciously - Kohlrabi in Lemon-Cream Sauce

1. Stage

Bring cream to a boil in a medium pot. Add kohlrabi and reduce heat. Cover and simmer until kohlrabi is soft, about 20 minutes.

2. Stage

Remove kohlrabi from sauce and place in a bowl; keep warm. Increase heat and cook sauce until thickened, about 5 minutes. Season with lemon zest, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and sugar. Stir in parsley. Add kohlrabi, mix to coat with sauce, and serve.
