1. White vinegar - 2 cups
2. Brown sugar - ½ cup
3. White sugar - ¼ cup
4. Worcestershire sauce - 1 tablespoon
5. Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
6. Salt - ½ tablespoon
7. Finely ground black pepper - 1 teaspoon
8. Finely ground red pepper - 1 teaspoon
9. Hot pepper sauce - ¾ teaspoon
10. Ketchup (such as Heinz®) - 1 cup

How to cook deliciously - Kris' Barbeque Pit Sauce

1. Stage

Stir vinegar, brown sugar, white sugar, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, salt, black pepper, red pepper, and hot pepper sauce together in a saucepan; bring to a boil, place a cover on the saucepan, reduce heat to medium-low. Cook sauce at a simmer, stirring occasionally, until sugars dissolve completely and sauce is thick, about 15 minutes.

Stir ketchup into the sauce until smooth.
