Ingredients for - Layered Pea Salad

1. Creamy salad dressing (such as Miracle Whip) - 1 cup
2. White sugar - 2 tablespoons
3. Baby peas, drained - 5 (15 ounce) cans
4. Finely chopped green bell pepper (Optional) - ½ cup
5. Iceberg lettuce, torn into bite-sized pieces - 1 head
6. Shredded Cheddar cheese - 2 cups
7. Bacon bits - 2 cups

How to cook deliciously - Layered Pea Salad

1. Stage

Stir together salad dressing and sugar in a large salad bowl or 9x13-inch glass baking dish until sugar is dissolved. Add peas and chopped green pepper and mix lightly to combine. Spread pea mixture evenly across the bottom of the dish.

2. Stage

Spread lettuce in an even layer over pea mixture and top lettuce with a layer of cheese. Sprinkle bacon bits over cheese.

3. Stage

Chill for at least 8 hours or overnight to blend flavors.
