1. Sourdough bread, cubed 1 (1 pound) loaf
2. Eggs 8 large
3. Milk 2 cups
4. White sugar ¾ cup
5. Heavy cream ½ cup
6. Vanilla extract 2 tablespoons
7. All-purpose flour ½ cup
8. Brown sugar ½ cup
9. Ground cinnamon 1 teaspoon
10. Salt ¼ teaspoon
11. Cold unsalted butter, cut into pieces ½ cup

1 . Stage

Spread bread cubes evenly in a greased 9x13-inch pan.

2 . Stage

Mix eggs, milk, sugar, cream, and vanilla together in a bowl. Pour evenly over the bread and and refrigerate, 8 hours to overnight.

3 . Stage

Mix flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt for topping together in a medium bowl. Add butter and cut in with a pastry blender until mixture is crumbly. Refrigerate, 8 hours to overnight.

4 . Stage

When ready to bake, preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Sprinkle topping over bread-egg mixture and bake in the preheated oven until golden brown and to desired consistency, 45 minutes to 1 hour.
