1. Russet potato - 1 large
2. Salt and ground black pepper to taste - 1 large
3. Butter - 1 tablespoon
4. Shredded Cheddar cheese - 2 tablespoons
5. Sour cream - 1 tablespoon

Scrub potato and prick with a fork. Place on a microwave-safe plate.

Microwave on full power for 5 minutes. Turn potato over, and microwave until soft, about 5 more minutes.
