Ingredients for - Mom's Best Meatloaf

1. Ground beef - 1 ½ pounds
2. Chopped onion - ¼ cup
3. Quick-cooking oats - ¼ cup
4. Cornmeal - ⅛ cup
5. Dried bread crumbs - 1 cup
6. Salt - 1 ½ teaspoons
7. White sugar - 1 tablespoon
8. Egg, beaten - 1
9. Tomato juice - ½ cup
10. Water - ½ cup
11. Barbecue sauce - 1 tablespoon
12. Liquid smoke flavoring - 1 dash
13. Distilled white vinegar - 1 tablespoon
14. Ketchup - ¼ cup
15. Brown sugar - 1 tablespoon
16. Prepared mustard - 2 teaspoons
17. Liquid smoke flavoring - 2 dashes

How to cook deliciously - Mom's Best Meatloaf

1. Stage

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

2. Stage

In a large bowl, combine the beef, onion, oatmeal, cornmeal, bread crumbs, salt, sugar, egg, tomato juice, water, barbecue sauce, 1/8 teaspoon liquid smoke and vinegar. Mix together thoroughly and place mixture into a lightly greased 9x5 inch loaf pan.

3. Stage

In a separate small bowl, combine the ketchup, brown sugar, mustard and 2 drops liquid smoke and mix thoroughly. Spread over the top of the meatloaf.

Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for approximately one hour.
