1. Cooking oil - 2 teaspoons
2. Beef top sirloin, thinly sliced - 3 pounds
3. Sweet Italian sausage, casings removed - 2 pounds
4. Onion, chopped - 1
5. Green bell pepper, chopped - 1
6. Red bell pepper, chopped - 1
7. Yellow bell pepper, chopped - 1
8. Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
9. Diced tomatoes - 20 ounces
10. Tomato sauce - 3 (8 ounce) cans
11. Chicken bouillon granules - 2 teaspoons
12. Honey - ½ cup
13. Kidney beans, rinsed and drained - 1 (15 ounce) can
14. Cayenne pepper - 2 tablespoons
15. Chili powder - 6 tablespoons
16. Dried oregano - 3 tablespoons
17. Ground black pepper - 1 teaspoon
18. Salt - 2 teaspoons
19. White sugar - ⅓ cup
20. Shredded Cheddar cheese - 1 cup
21. Masa (corn flour) - ¼ cup

How to cook deliciously - Nina's Texas Chili

1. Stage

Heat the oil in a large pot over medium heat; cook the steak, sausage, onion, green pepper, red, pepper, yellow pepper, and garlic in the pot until the onions and peppers are soft, about 5 minutes. Add the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, chicken bouillon, honey, and kidney beans; bring to a boil. One at a time, stir in the cayenne pepper, chili powder, oregano, black pepper, salt, and sugar. Sprinkle the Cheddar cheese into the chili in small batches and stir to melt. Reduce heat to low and slow cook about 2 hours. Thicken by stirring the masa through the chili, and simmering for 10 minutes.
