1. Unsalted butter 1 pound
2. White sugar 3 cups
3. Bakers' ammonia 3 teaspoons
4. Finely chopped almonds 1 cup
5. All-purpose flour 3 ½ cups

1 . Stage

In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar. Stir in the powdered ammonia and chopped almonds. Knead in the flour. Roll dough into 1 inch balls and freeze for 1 hour.

preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C). Take cookies out of the freezer and bake for 30 minutes.
