Ingredients for - Pastia

1. Thin egg noodles, cooked - ½ pound
2. Butter - ½ cup
3. White sugar - 1 ½ cups
4. Milk - 1 quart
5. Heavy cream - 1 pint
6. Anise extract - 1 ounce
7. Vanilla extract - 3 tablespoons
8. Eggs - 12
9. Ricotta cheese - 8 ounces

How to cook deliciously - Pastia

1. Stage

Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C).

2. Stage

In large mixing bowl, combine noodles, butter, sugar, milk, cream, anise, vanilla, eggs and ricotta. Spoon into 9x13 inch baking dish and bake for 1 1/4 hours, until golden and knife inserted in center comes out clean. Cool and serve.
