1. Thin egg noodles, cooked ½ pound
2. Butter ½ cup
3. White sugar 1 ½ cups
4. Milk 1 quart
5. Heavy cream 1 pint
6. Anise extract 1 ounce
7. Vanilla extract 3 tablespoons
8. Eggs 12
9. Ricotta cheese 8 ounces

1 . Stage

Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C).

2 . Stage

In large mixing bowl, combine noodles, butter, sugar, milk, cream, anise, vanilla, eggs and ricotta. Spoon into 9x13 inch baking dish and bake for 1 1/4 hours, until golden and knife inserted in center comes out clean. Cool and serve.
