1. 3 medium pears, peeled and sliced -
2. 2 teaspoons lemon juice -
3. 3 tablespoons sugar -
4. 3 tablespoons old-fashioned oats -
5. 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour -
6. 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon -
7. 1/8 teaspoon ground ginger -
8. Dash ground nutmeg -
9. 1 tablespoon cold butter -
10. 2 tablespoons chopped nuts -

How to cook deliciously - Pear Crumble

1. Stage

Preheat the oven to 350°F. Place the pear slices in a greased 1-quart baking dish. Sprinkle them with lemon juice.

2. Stage

In a large bowl, combine the sugar, oats, flour, cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg. Cut in the butter until crumbly. Then, stir in the nuts. Sprinkle the topping over the pears. Editor's Tip: Keep the butter in the fridge until you're ready to use it. Using extra-cold butter will help form big crumbles in the topping.

Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and the fruit is bubbly.
