How to cook deliciously - Potato and bean thalers
1. Stage
Boil potatoes in salted water, drain and mash the potatoes hot.

Add boiled kidney beans (3-4 tbsp.), mash together with potatoes.

Add finely chopped herbs, pepper, salt (if needed) and starch. The amount of starch will need to be increased, depending on the type of potatoes. It is the starch and beans that act as a binder in this version instead of the egg.

Mix everything thoroughly. The dough should resemble the consistency of soft plasticine.

Place in a plastic container and put in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, but you can also for a couple of hours.

Dust a board with flour, form a "sausage" from the dough, divide into segments, roll into a small ball and press with a fork (for beauty)

Heat a frying pan, heat 1-1.5 tbsp of oil, place a batch of thalers and fry until brown on both sides (they fry very quickly). Then place them on paper towels. Fry the next batch of thalers.

They are served with sour cream or your favorite vegetable preparation: adjika, paprika pesto, vegetable or mushroom caviar.
