How to cook deliciously - Roasted Asparagus

Preheat the oven to 350°F. Place the asparagus on a large piece of heavy-duty foil. Dot the asparagus with the butter.

Bring the edges of the foil together and seal the packet tightly. Place the foil packet on a baking sheet.

Bake until the asparagus is crisp-tender, 25 to 30 minutes. Carefully open the foil to allow the steam to escape. Season the asparagus with salt and pepper. Editor's Tip: Whether you grill foil packets or use them in the oven like in this recipe, open them with caution. Put on oven mitts or grill gloves before you break the seal, or use a long skewer to poke a hole in the packet to release the steam before you open it completely.
