2. Leeks, sliced - 2
3. Salt and pepper to taste - 2
4. Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
5. Chicken broth - 1 quart
6. Yukon Gold potatoes, peeled and diced - 4 cups
7. Heavy cream, or to taste - 2 cups

1. Stage

Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add leeks and season to taste with salt and pepper; cook and stir until leeks are tender, about 15 minutes.
