2. Leeks, sliced 2
3. Salt and pepper to taste 2
4. Cornstarch 1 tablespoon
5. Chicken broth 1 quart
6. Yukon Gold potatoes, peeled and diced 4 cups
7. Heavy cream, or to taste 2 cups

Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add leeks and season to taste with salt and pepper; cook and stir until leeks are tender, about 15 minutes.
