1. 1 oz. premium Japanese Wagyu New York beef -
2. Salt -
3. Pepper -
4. 1/4 tsp. coarse sea salt -
5. 6 oz. clarified butter -
6. 1 Madagascar vanilla bean -
7. 1 oz. Maine lobster tail -

How to cook deliciously - Ryan Seacrest's Secret Dish: Mini Surf and Turf

1. Stage

Generously season Wagyu cubes with salt and pepper.

2. Stage

On a griddle or very hot pan, sear Wagyu cubes on each side, making sure each side gets nicely caramelized and crusted, but leaving inside medium in temperature. Do not use any oil.

3. Stage

Plate and sprinkle with sea salt.

4. Stage

In a small saucepan, warm clarified butter and vanilla bean to about 300 degrees F. Place lobster medallion in vanilla bean-clarified butter. Allow to cook until just fully opaque and a slightly firm consistency. Place next to Wagyu and serve!
