Ingredients for - Sauerkraut Salad

1. Sauerkraut, drained 1 quart
2. Onion, chopped 1
3. Celery, chopped 2 stalks
4. Green bell pepper, chopped 1
5. Carrots, chopped 1 large
6. Diced pimento peppers, drained 1 (4 ounce) jar
7. Mustard seed 1 teaspoon
8. White sugar 1 ½ cups
9. Vegetable oil 1 cup
10. Cider vinegar ½ cup

How to cook deliciously - Sauerkraut Salad

1 . Stage

In a large bowl, mix together sauerkraut, onion, celery, green bell pepper, carrot, pimientos, and mustard seed. Set aside this mixture.

2 . Stage

In a small saucepan, mix together sugar, oil, and vinegar. Bring to a boil. Remove from heat.

3 . Stage

Pour sugar mixture over salad, cover, and leave it in the refregerator for 2 days before serving.
