1. Cubed beef chuck roast 2 pounds
2. Water 5 cups
3. Beef bouillon, crumbled 4 cubes
4. Onion, chopped ½
5. Tomato sauce 1 (8 ounce) can
6. Uncooked pearl barley ¾ cup
7. Salt and pepper to taste ¾ cup
