4. 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes -

6. 6 cups coarsely chopped cabbage -
7. 1 tablespoon water -

How to cook deliciously - Sauteed Cabbage

1. Stage

In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Editor's Tip: Use a cast-iron skillet to achieve a nice, even browning on the cabbage.

Stir in the sugar, salt, pepper flakes and pepper.

3. Stage

Add the cabbage and water to the skillet. Cook for five to six minutes or until the cabbage is tender, stirring occasionally.
