Ingredients for - Shirazi Salad

1. Firm Roma tomatoes, finely diced - 4 medium
2. English cucumber, finely diced - 1 medium
3. Diced red onion - ½ cup
4. Chopped fresh cilantro - 1 tablespoon
5. Dried mint - 1 tablespoon
6. Freshly squeezed lime juice - ¼ cup
7. Extra-virgin olive oil - 3 tablespoons
8. Salt - ½ teaspoon
9. Freshly ground black pepper - ½ teaspoon
10. Sumac (Optional) - ¼ teaspoon
11. Fresh mint (Optional) - 1 sprig

How to cook deliciously - Shirazi Salad

1. Stage

Combine tomatoes, English cucumber, onion, and cilantro in a large bowl. Sprinkle with mint and transfer to the refrigerator for flavors to meld, at least 30 minutes.

Whisk together lime juice, olive oil, salt, pepper, and sumac in a small bowl until well combined. Drizzle dressing over the salad right before serving. Toss well to combine, and garnish with fresh mint leaves.
