1. Lean ground beef - 1 pound
2. Dry lentils, rinsed - 1 ½ cups
3. Chopped carrots - 1 cup
4. Chopped onion - 1 cup
5. Chopped celery - 1 cup
6. Water - 3 cups
7. Salt - 1 teaspoon
8. Ground black pepper to taste - 1 teaspoon
9. Beef bouillon cube - 2 cubes
10. Tomato-vegetable juice cocktail - 6 cups
11. Mushrooms, drained - 1 (4.5 ounce) can
12. Worcestershire sauce - 1 dash

How to cook deliciously - Beefy Lentil Vegetable Soup

1. Stage

Brown beef; break meat into small pieces while cooking. Drain.

2. Stage

Place meat in a big pot with lid. Add lentils, vegetables, water, salt, pepper, bouillon, vegetable juice, mushrooms, and Worcestershire sauce. Cook on high until it boils. Reduce heat to low, and cover. Simmer for about 1 1/2 to 2 hours, or until lentils are tender. Stir occasionally.
