1. Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
2. Onion, coarsely chopped - ½ large
3. Finely chopped fresh garlic - 2 teaspoons
4. Ground beef - 1 ½ pounds
5. Chili powder - 2 tablespoons
6. Ground cumin - 1 tablespoon
7. Kosher salt - ½ teaspoon
8. Ground black pepper - ⅛ teaspoon
9. Black beans, rinsed and drained - 2 (15 ounce) cans
10. Red kidney beans, rinsed and drained - 2 (15 ounce) cans
11. Diced tomatoes and green chile peppers, undrained - 2 (14.5 ounce) cans

How to cook deliciously - Slow Cooker Beef Chili

1. Stage

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add onion and garlic; cook, stirring frequently, until softened, 4 to 5 minutes. Stir in ground beef, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally, until beef is lightly browned and crumbly, 5 to 8 minutes.

2. Stage

Transfer beef mixture to a slow cooker. Stir in black beans, kidney beans, and diced tomatoes and chiles. Cover and cook on Low, stirring occasionally, 8 to 10 hours.
