2. Stewed tomatoes, undrained 2 (14.5 ounce) cans
3. Skinless, boneless chicken thighs, cut up 1 pound
4. Reduced-sodium chicken broth 1 (14.5 ounce) can
5. Green sweet pepper, chopped 1
6. Onion, chopped 1 large
7. Celery, chopped 2 stalks
8. Garlic, minced 3 cloves
9. Cajun seasoning 1 tablespoon
10. Ground black pepper ¼ teaspoon
11. Cayenne pepper ¼ teaspoon
12. Fresh or frozen medium shrimp (thawed if frozen), peeled and deveined 1 pound
13. Hot cooked white or brown rice 4 cups

How to cook deliciously - Slow Cooker Chicken Gumbo with Shrimp

1 . Stage

Line a 5- to 6-quart slow cooker with Reynolds slow cooker liner.

2 . Stage

Place tomatoes, chicken, broth, green pepper, onion, celery, garlic, Cajun seasoning, black pepper, and cayenne pepper into the prepared slow cooker. Stir gently with a wooden spoon or rubber scraper to combine.

3 . Stage

Cover and cook on Low for 6 hours.

4 . Stage

Remove the lid and stir in shrimp gently with a wooden spoon or rubber scraper. Cover and continue cooking on Low until shrimp is opaque, about 3 minutes more. Serve over cooked rice.
