1. Chopped apples - 2 cups
2. Dried cranberries - ½ cup
3. Steel-cut oats - 1 cup
4. Packed brown sugar - ½ cup
5. Butter, sliced - 2 tablespoons
6. Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
7. Ground cinnamon, or more to taste - 1 teaspoon
8. Ground nutmeg - ¼ teaspoon
9. Milk - 2 cups
10. Water - 2 cups
11. Chopped walnuts - ½ cup

1. Stage

Line a 3 1/2- or 4-quart slow cooker with a disposable slow cooker liner. Place apples, cranberries, oats, brown sugar, butter, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and nutmeg inside. Pour in milk and water and mix to combine. Cover.
