Ingredients for - Spaghetti Sauce II

1. Onion, chopped - 1
2. Garlic, minced - 3 cloves
3. Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
4. Whole peeled tomatoes - 1 (28 ounce) can
5. Tomato paste - 2 (6 ounce) cans
6. Dried basil - 2 tablespoons
7. Dried oregano - 1 tablespoon
8. Bay leaves - 2
9. White sugar - 1 tablespoon
10. Crushed red pepper flakes - ¼ teaspoon
11. Red wine - ¼ cup
12. Italian sausage links - 1 pound

How to cook deliciously - Spaghetti Sauce II

1. Stage

Heat olive oil in a large saucepan or Dutch oven. Saute onions and garlic until tender, 2-3 minutes. Add remaining ingredients (except sausage links) and simmer over low heat for 3 hours.

2. Stage

With one hour cooking time remaining, cook and brown sausages in a skillet. When browned, place in sauce and continue to simmer. Remove bay leaves before serving. Serve over hot cooked noodles, with sausages on the side.
