Ingredients for - Spanish Rice II

1. Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
2. Uncooked white rice - 1 cup
3. Onion, chopped - 1
4. Green bell pepper, chopped - ½
5. Water - 2 cups
6. Diced tomatoes and green chiles - 1 (10 ounce) can
7. Chili powder, or to taste - 2 teaspoons
8. Salt - 1 teaspoon

How to cook deliciously - Spanish Rice II

1. Stage

Heat oil in a deep skillet over medium heat. Saute rice, onion, and bell pepper until rice is browned and onions are tender.

2. Stage

Stir in water and tomatoes. Season with chili powder and salt. Cover, and simmer for 30 minutes, or until rice is cooked and liquid is absorbed.
