3. Vegetable oil - ⅓ cup
4. Apple cider vinegar - 3 tablespoons
5. Hot sauce - 3 tablespoons
6. White sugar - 2 ½ tablespoons
7. Salt - 1 teaspoon
8. Ground black pepper - 1 dash
9. Spring mix lettuce - 1 (12 ounce) bag
10. Mandarin oranges, drained - 1 (11 ounce) can
11. Sliced fresh strawberries - 1 cup
12. Chopped celery - 1 cup
13. Chopped red onion - ½ cup
14. Chopped fresh parsley - 2 teaspoons

How to cook deliciously - Strawberry and Mandarin Salad

1. Stage

Heat a heavy-bottomed pan over medium heat. Stir almonds and 3 tablespoons sugar together in the skillet; cook until the sugar has melted and coats the almonds; 15 to 20 minutes. Set aside.

2. Stage

Whisk vegetable oil, vinegar, hot sauce, 2 1/2 tablespoons sugar, salt, and pepper together in a bowl. Toss spring mix, oranges, strawberries, celery, onion, and parsley together in a large mixing bowl; drizzle the vegetable oil mixture over the lettuce mixture and stir gently to coat. Sprinkle toasted almonds over the salad to serve.
