2. Fresh corn kernels - 1 cup
3. Onion, diced - 1 small
4. Cherry tomato halves - 1 cup
5. Lime juice - 2 tablespoons
6. Lemon zest (Optional) - 1 teaspoon
7. Olive oil, or as needed - 1 tablespoon
8. Salt to taste - 1 tablespoon
9. Ground black pepper to taste - 1 tablespoon
10. Thinly sliced fresh basil - ⅓ cup
