1. Unbaked pie crust 1 (9 inch)
2. Unsalted butter, melted 2 tablespoons
3. Cooked and mashed sweet potatoes 1 cup
4. Eggs, beaten 2
5. Light brown sugar ¾ cup
6. Ground ginger ½ teaspoon
7. Ground cinnamon ½ teaspoon
8. Freshly grated nutmeg ½ teaspoon
9. Vanilla extract 1 teaspoon
10. Salt ½ teaspoon
11. Dark corn syrup ½ cup
12. Evaporated milk 1 cup
13. Chopped pecans 1 ½ cups
14. Heavy whipping cream 2 cups
15. Confectioners' sugar 3 tablespoons
16. Hazelnut liqueur ¼ cup
17. Pecan halves ¼ cup

How to cook deliciously - Sweet Potato Pie with Pecans

1 . Stage

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

2 . Stage

Prepare dough for one 9 inch pie. Refrigerate until ready to bake.

3 . Stage

Blend together the butter, sweet potatoes, eggs, brown sugar, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, salt, corn syrup and evaporated milk. Pour filling into crust and sprinkle with chopped pecans.

4 . Stage

Bake for 40 to 45 minutes, or until inserted knife comes out clean. Set aside to cool.

5 . Stage

Beat together whipping cream, sugar and liqueur until soft peaks form. Top pie with whipped cream and pecan halves.
