Ingredients for - Tomato-Smothered Pork Chops

1. Vegetable oil, or as needed 2 tablespoons
2. Pork chops 4
3. All-purpose flour, or as needed ½ cup
4. Onion, chopped 1
5. Bell pepper - chopped, your color choice 1
6. Tomato sauce 1 (15 ounce) can
7. Garlic powder, or more to taste ½ teaspoon
8. Salt and pepper to taste ½ teaspoon

How to cook deliciously - Tomato-Smothered Pork Chops

1 . Stage

Heat enough oil to cover the bottom of a large skillet over medium-high heat. Dredge pork chops in flour, add to the pan, and brown well on both sides. Remove chops and set aside.

2 . Stage

Add onion and bell pepper; cook and stir for 5 minutes, or until almost tender. Return pork chops to skillet and pour in tomato sauce. Allow sauce to start bubbling and then reduce heat to low.

3 . Stage

Simmer for 30 minutes and season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
