Ingredients for - Tomato-Smothered Pork Chops

1. Vegetable oil, or as needed - 2 tablespoons
2. Pork chops - 4
3. All-purpose flour, or as needed - ½ cup
4. Onion, chopped - 1
5. Bell pepper - chopped, your color choice - 1
6. Tomato sauce - 1 (15 ounce) can
7. Garlic powder, or more to taste - ½ teaspoon
8. Salt and pepper to taste - ½ teaspoon

How to cook deliciously - Tomato-Smothered Pork Chops

1. Stage

Heat enough oil to cover the bottom of a large skillet over medium-high heat. Dredge pork chops in flour, add to the pan, and brown well on both sides. Remove chops and set aside.

2. Stage

Add onion and bell pepper; cook and stir for 5 minutes, or until almost tender. Return pork chops to skillet and pour in tomato sauce. Allow sauce to start bubbling and then reduce heat to low.

3. Stage

Simmer for 30 minutes and season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
