Ingredients for - Trail-Tested Power Bars

1. Old-fashioned rolled oats - 4 cups
2. Whole wheat flour - 2 cups
3. Wheat germ - 1 cup
4. Wheat and barley nugget cereal (such as Grape-Nuts®) - ½ cup
5. Packed brown sugar - ½ cup
6. Ground cinnamon - 1 ½ teaspoons
7. Ripe banana, mashed - 1
8. Eggs, beaten - 2 large
9. Vegetable oil - ½ cup
10. Unsweetened applesauce - ½ cup
11. Pure maple syrup - ⅓ cup
12. Honey - ⅓ cup
13. Vanilla extract - 2 teaspoons
14. Salt - 1 teaspoon
15. Flax seeds - ½ cup
16. Sesame seeds - ½ cup
17. Sunflower seeds - ½ cup
18. Semisweet chocolate chips - ½ cup
19. Chopped banana chips - ½ cup
20. Chopped walnuts - ½ cup
21. Chopped almonds - ½ cup
22. Chunky peanut butter - ½ cup

How to cook deliciously - Trail-Tested Power Bars

1. Stage

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9x14-inch baking pan.

Mix rolled oats, whole wheat flour, cereal, brown sugar, and cinnamon together in a large bowl.

3. Stage

Whisk banana, eggs, oil, applesauce, maple syrup, honey, vanilla extract, and salt together in a separate bowl until evenly blended. Stir into the oat mixture. Stir in flax seeds, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, chocolate chips, banana chips, walnuts, almonds, and peanut butter.

Use your hands to mix the ingredients, and press into the prepared pan.

5. Stage

Bake in the preheated oven until edges are golden brown, 20 to 25 minutes. Cool completely in the pan, about 30 minutes. Cut into 2-inch bars.
