Ingredients for - Trinidad Garlic Pork Leg

1. White vinegar 2 cups
2. Onions, chopped 2 medium
3. Garlic cloves ¼ pound
4. Habanero pepper, seeded and chopped 1
5. Lime, juiced 1 medium
6. Ground thyme 2 tablespoons
7. Salt 2 teaspoons
8. Vegetable oil for frying, or as needed 1 cup
9. Pork legs, coarsely chopped 4 pounds

How to cook deliciously - Trinidad Garlic Pork Leg

1 . Stage

Combine vinegar, onions, garlic, habanero, lime juice, thyme, and salt in the bowl of an electric blender and puree until smooth.

2 . Stage

Place pork in a non-metallic bowl and pour the marinade over top. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for 8 hours, or overnight.

3 . Stage

Drain the pork. Discard the remaining marinade.

4 . Stage

Heat oil in a 12-inch pan to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

5 . Stage

Fry the pork in the hot oil until browned on all sides, working in batches as needed, 5 to 7 minutes per batch.
