Ingredients for - Yam Casserole

1. Yams, drained and mashed - 1 (29 ounce) can
2. Melted butter - ¼ cup
3. White sugar - ½ cup
4. Evaporated milk - ½ cup
5. Eggs, beaten - 2
6. Nutmeg - ½ teaspoon
7. Ground cinnamon - ½ teaspoon
8. Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
9. Butter, softened - ¼ cup
10. Brown sugar - ½ cup
11. Chopped walnuts - ½ cup
12. Sugar frosted corn flake cereal - 1 cup

How to cook deliciously - Yam Casserole

1. Stage

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

2. Stage

In a large bowl combine yams, melted butter, white sugar, evaporated milk, eggs, nutmeg, cinnamon and vanilla extract. Mix well and transfer to a 9x9 inch casserole dish.

3. Stage

In a medium bowl cream butter with brown sugar. Stir in walnuts and frosted cereal. Spread on top of yam mixture.

4. Stage

Bake in preheated oven for 35 minutes.
