1. All-purpose flour 2 cups
2. White sugar 1 cup
3. Canola oil ⅔ cup
4. Unsulfured molasses ¼ cup
5. Egg 1
6. Baking soda 2 teaspoons
7. Ground cinnamon 1 teaspoon
8. Ground ginger 1 teaspoon
9. Salt ½ teaspoon
10. White sugar, or as needed ¼ cup

1 . Stage

Mix flour, 1 cup sugar, canola oil, molasses, egg, baking soda, cinnamon, ginger, and salt in a bowl. Refrigerate dough for 1 hour.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Pour 1/4 cup sugar into a bowl.
