1. Packed brown sugar - 2 cups
2. Mashed bananas - 1 cup
3. Eggs - 2
4. Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
5. Vegetable oil (Optional) - 2 tablespoons
6. All-purpose flour - 3 cups
7. Baking soda - 2 teaspoons
8. Salt - 1 teaspoon
9. Ground cinnamon - 1 ½ teaspoons
10. Ground allspice - ½ teaspoon
11. Ground cardamom - 1 tablespoon
12. Ground cloves - ½ teaspoon
13. Dark beer - 2 cups
14. Chopped walnuts - 1 ½ cups
15. All-purpose flour - 2 tablespoons
16. Dates, pitted and chopped - 2 cups
17. Minced fresh ginger root - 2 tablespoons

How to cook deliciously - Banana Beer Bread

1. Stage

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease two 9x5-inch loaf pans.

In a large bowl, mix the brown sugar, banana, eggs, and vanilla. For moister bread, add oil, if desired.

3. Stage

In a separate bowl, sift together 3 cups flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, all spice, cardamom, and cloves. Alternately blend the flour mixture and beer into the banana mixture.

4. Stage

Toss the walnuts with the remaining flour. Stir in the dates and ginger to the mixture and blend well. Pour into two loaf pans.

5. Stage

Bake in preheated oven until inserted toothpick inserted into the center of each loaf comes out clean, about 1 hour.
