1. White sugar - 1 cup
2. Shortening - ½ cup
3. Eggs, beaten - 2 large
4. Vanilla extract - ½ teaspoon
5. All-purpose flour - 1 cup
6. Quick cooking oats - 1 cup
7. Baking soda - 1 teaspoon
8. Salt - ½ teaspoon
9. Ground cinnamon - ½ teaspoon
10. Mashed bananas - 1 ½ cups
11. Milk - ¼ cup
12. Chopped raisins (Optional) - ½ cup

How to cook deliciously - Banana Oatmeal Bread

1. Stage

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan and set aside.

Cream together sugar and shortening. Add eggs and vanilla; beat until fluffy.

Sift together flour, oats, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Add dry ingredients alternately with bananas and milk to wet ingredients. Mix until blended. Fold in raisins and pour into the prepared pan.

Bake in the preheated oven for 50 to 60 minutes; remove from oven and cover for 5 minutes.
