1. 2 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened -
2. 1/3 cup beer or nonalcoholic beer -
3. 1 envelope ranch salad dressing mix -
4. 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese -

How to cook deliciously - Beer Dip

1. Stage

In a large bowl, beat together the cream cheese, beer and ranch salad dressing mix until smooth and well combined. Editor's Tip: If your cream cheese is still cold from the fridge, it might take a little elbow grease to get the texture right. You can quickly soften cream cheese by microwaving the block for 20 seconds in five-second intervals. Or, if you have a little time, letting the cream cheese sit at room temperature for 35 to 45 minutes should do the trick.

2. Stage

Stir in the cheddar until evenly combined. Serve with pretzels and whatever else you like!
