1. Apple cider vinegar - 1 cup
2. Olive oil - ½ cup
3. Lemon juice - ¼ cup
4. Red onion, thinly sliced - 1 small
5. Lemon, thinly sliced - 1 medium
6. Fresno chile, thinly sliced - 1 medium
7. Garlic, smashed - 3 cloves
8. Bay leaves, crushed - 3
9. Capers, roughly chopped - 2 tablespoons
10. Celery seed - 1 teaspoon
11. Lemon zest - 1 teaspoon
12. Seafood seasoning (such as Old Bay®) - 2 tablespoons
13. Large shrimp - peeled, deveined, and tails left on - 2 pounds

How to cook deliciously - Best Pickled Shrimp

1. Stage

Combine vinegar, olive oil, lemon juice, onion, lemon slices, Fresno chile, garlic, crushed bay leaves, capers, celery seed, and lemon zest in a large bowl; stir until well combined. Place in the refrigerator while you prepare the shrimp.

2. Stage

Combine 3 quarts of water and seafood seasoning in a large saucepan; bring to a boil. Add shrimp and cook for exactly 2 minutes. Drain well and add to chilled onion mixture. Cover and refrigerate 8 hours to overnight, or up to 4 days.
