1. Vegetable oil 2 tablespoons
2. Yellow onions, chopped 2
3. Sweet onion, chopped 1
4. Garlic, peeled and minced 1 head
5. Yellow bell pepper, chopped 1
6. Orange bell pepper, chopped 1
7. Cubed beef stew meat 2 pounds
8. Italian sausage meat 2 pounds
9. Applewood smoked bacon, cut into 1-inch pieces 4 slices
10. Tomato sauce 2 (28 ounce) cans
11. Tomato paste 2 (6 ounce) cans
12. Black beans, rinsed and drained 2 (14 ounce) cans
13. Kidney beans, rinsed and drained 2 (14.5 ounce) cans
14. Chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, chopped 1 (7 ounce) can
15. Beef broth 2 cups
16. Dark beer 1 (12 fluid ounce) bottle
17. Chili powder, or to taste ¼ teaspoon
18. Crumbled dried oregano ¼ cup
19. Fresh-ground black pepper 1 tablespoon
20. Salt, or amount to taste 2 teaspoons
21. Dark chocolate candy bar 2 ½ ounces

How to cook deliciously - Big Game Day Chili

1 . Stage

Heat the oil in a large deep pot over medium-high heat, and stir in the onions, garlic, and bell peppers. Cook and stir until the onions are transparent, about 5 minutes. Add the beef stew meat, sausage, and bacon. Cook until meats are evenly browned. Drain the fat.

2 . Stage

Stir in the tomato sauce, tomato paste, black beans, kidney beans, chipotle peppers with sauce, beef broth, beer, chili powder, oregano, pepper, salt, and chocolate. Bring the mixture to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for at least 1 hour; 2 hours is preferred.
