Ingredients for - Bo Nuong Xa

1. White sugar - 2 teaspoons
2. Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
3. Ground black pepper - 1 teaspoon
4. Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
5. Lemon grass, minced - 2 stalks
6. Sesame seeds - 2 teaspoons
7. Sirloin tip, thinly sliced - 1 ½ pounds
8. Skewers - 1 ½ pounds
9. Romaine lettuce - 12 leaves
10. Fresh cilantro for garnish - 12 leaves
11. Fresh basil for garnish - 12 leaves
12. Fresh mint for garnish - 12 leaves
13. Thinly sliced green onion for garnish - 12 leaves

How to cook deliciously - Bo Nuong Xa

1. Stage

In a medium bowl, mix the sugar, soy sauce, pepper, garlic, lemon grass, and sesame seeds. Place the meat in the dish, and stir to coat. Cover, and refrigerate for 4 hours.

2. Stage

Preheat grill for high heat. Discard marinade, and thread meat onto skewers accordion style.

3. Stage

Brush grill grate with oil, and discard marinade. Arrange skewers on the grill. Cook 5 minutes per side. Serve hot from skewers, or remove from skewers and serve on lettuce leaves. Garnish with cilantro, mint, basil, and sliced green onions.
